Seal Psych Consult offers short-term, professional coverage for your adult clients while you are away from your practice, and helps manage waitlists or periods of high demand. Our goal is to ensure fast access to evidence-based care and continuity of care so your clients feel confident and supported.


Clients can be provided with Psych Consult's contact information and reassured that someone will be available if they need help - typically within 48 hours or sooner upon request.

Key Details of Coverage:

- Each client may access up to three, 50-minute sessions per concern.

- Session periods are flexible with increments of 15, 30, and 50-minutes available.

- Maximum 1 month of service.

- Clients must create a confidential profile through Seal Psych Consult.

- Services will remain completely confidential and will not be shared with the original provider unless the client provides written consent.

- With your client's consent, Seal Psych Consult will review a brief summary of your client's presenting concerns and care needs prior to their appointment, free of charge.

- Seal Psych Consult is NOT A CRISIS OR EMERGENCY SERVICE. We do not work with clients who are currently suicidal, engaging in self-harm, in active psychosis, under the influence of substances, or otherwise in need of in-person care.

- All services are provided by a Registered Psychologist in B.C. with extensive training in evidence-based practice including CBT and DBT.
